Sometimes it's more frequent than that.ġ) Changing the sample rate either way does not alter the crackles/noise at all.Ģ) Changing the ASIO driver does not work either.ģ) I've changed USB inputs for the tascam, no change. Sometimes I plug in and its clear and I think its 'gone away' then it'll happen right at the end of the take. Its not a constant thing and is pretty unpredictable. The only problem i have is that when I go through the Tascam i get crackles and clicks on my recorded audio. I use ASIO4ALL as my driver after reading about how its more stable than the tascam ASIO. I use this to record guitars via the right hand 1/4 inch jack input and Vocals via the left XLR input.Įverythings up and running well. I've got a USB Tascam US-144 mkII as my audio interface.
I record through my PC (Cubase LE/Windows 7/8gb ram/i7 processor)
